The most important thing in manufacturing face masks is hygiene. In order to make the consumers rest assured when purchasing the products, every employee must wear gloves and headgears, sanitize hands and wear masks before entering the factory. They repeat the same steps every day without slackening.
After entering the shop floor, from the raw material nonwoven fabrics, taking a shape to packaging and selling, the production of face masks has been through countless professional checks. There are four people in one assembly line.

First, the machine would put three layers of fabrics together and weld them into shape. Then, the assembly line would be divided into 2-3 exits. The machine beside the exit would put ear bands on the masks. The final step is overedging.

At the exit of every production line, an employee would take the responsibility of counting and packaging. Their mission is to ensure the quality of face masks and take charge of packing them.
A factory is able to produce about 150 thousand masks a day. During the visit, we admired the employees at the exit deeply. They are able to repeat the steps of packing and eliminating defective goods. Although repeating the same steps every day would make them tired, they still hold the commitment of protecting people’s health. They even sacrificed the time to be with their family in the beginning of the outbreak, staying at work to guard Taiwan. We are touched by these anonymous heroes.
