In the first lesson, the teacher told us to complete the outline of research and choose the topic. After that, in the second lesson, we looked up for some information on Long-Shou tea and present to classmates. For example, its growing environment, weather, season of production and other breeds of tea. In the third lesson, we used our own cameras to take photos in the campus to enhance our photographical skills. Also, we listed questions based on the information we got, and classify those questions.

In the fourth lesson, we visited Sheng-Jin tea factory. In the visiting process, I learned about the dos and don’ts of picking tea. For instance, the equipment for picking tea, the requirement of picking tea leaves with one-tip two-leaf, and so on. We also tasted a variety of tea, and learned how to make perfect cold-brewed tea (the three elements of making tea: water temperature, the amount of tea and time). After visiting the tea garden, the teacher required us to write reflections and thoughts. The teacher considered our knowledge of tea garden incomplete, so he asked us to inquire Mr.Chen about the knowledge of tea and tea garden management when visiting the tea garden again.
In the second tea garden visit, Mr. Chen introduced many types of tea to us. He also told us the benefits of drinking tea. For example, it can serve as a refreshment, stimulate digestion and get rid of bad breath, etc. Mr. Chen also let us taste Linkou Long-Shou tea, which smiles bitter but tastes sweet, with a mild honey taste.
